I've done a lot of work on the Jackson/Macon County Carvers and there are also a lot of Donoho's there. Are your James Newton Carver and his Donoho wife originally from Jackson/Macon/Smith/Wilson Counties in Tn? I have a James Carver, b. 1836 and a couple born in the 1840's and 1850's.

Web site is http:\\www.familytreemaker.com\users\h\a\m\Nancy-L-Hamm\htlm if you want to see if any might be yours.

Nancy
