Robert Wm. & Sarah Ann Russell Carver

Robert Wm. Carver (1820-1896) and Sarah Ann Russell (1825-1900). Son Calvin Green Carver born in MS, don't know where, July 1850. Sarah's parents may have been a Martha and John Russell of Kemper Co., MS. Sarah said to be part Indian, could speak the language of her tribe; tribe unknown, think Choctaw. Robert may have had a first wife, Mary T. Carver, Pickens Co., AL. Said he ran away from Duck River, TN about age 17 and headed south. They moved into Livingston Parish, LA after 1850 and then on to Vernon Parish, LA late 1800s where they are buried. Second child was Martha who later married a Rayborn in Liv. Pr. Belford Carver, Hammond, LA
