Looking for information on my ggg grandfather, Elijah Carver. His father was supposedly a William Carver. Elijah Carver married Sophia Haff (probably in KY). Their son Charles Carver, born 1832 married Mary B. Howard and lived in Menard/Cass Cos. Illinois. They had a least one child, Sarah Ellen Carver 1854-1936 who married Charles Chilton and died in Cass Co IL.
