Rosemary and all researcher . There are 12 studies written on the Carruthers families, I will list a few good studies foryou, be ware of error in some of them.

1) The Dr.Norman Carothers Papers , covers Pa, to TN, written by John Frnklin & Ralph E. Carothers 1932.
2) Pelcher,Carothers and there Coladeral kin, written by Margaret Pilcher 1932
3) John Carruthers a Pioneer, written by E.M.Wright 1934
4) The Hart Papers ,written by Mr.Hart 1932
5) The Oakhill Paper, a collection of Letters and corraspondance of all the above, and some below.
6)Hawk's,Rice,Caruthers and there collateral Kin written 1935
7)Carruthers record of Georgia by S.h. Moxley
