Son of Capt. Samuel Caruthers & Luella/Lou/Lula Cox. Married Calula/Lula/Lulu Yale (1861-1934) of Comanche Co., TX between 1885 & 1889, where? They were "of" Maricopa Co., Arizona Territory in 1889 and in 1900 he was "single" in Graham Co., AZ. Where was he in 1910? According to one source, Lula Yale's husband was killed in Texas in a fight with her older brother, Price Yale. Was Lula Yale married twice? She is missing from the 1900 census and in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census she's a widow. She was a resident of the Arizona Pioneers Home in Prescott by 1930 and was buried in the cemetery there. What happened to Eugene Caruthers? Is he mentioned in the obituaries of his siblings? They were:

Mary Ella 1862, married James N. Porter, residents of Graham Co., AZ in 1900
Edward E. 1866
Samuel J. 1868, married Belle
Elizabeth Frances 1870
Lela B. 1872
John A. 1874
Minnie 1878
