I am looking for any connections of the Cameron and Carrithers/Carruthers/Corthers families from the early 1800s in Shelby/Henry counties in Kentucky and Sullivan county in Indiana. I am looking for my gr gr great grandmother that would have married James Cameron. She would have had two children, Wm Carruthers Cameron b. 3-29-1820 and Harriett Cameron b. 3-9-1822.
I know that there are many Carruthers (many different spellings) in the Sullivan County Indiana area around this time. Does anyone have any info on the women of these families that might have married my James in the late 181Xs.
