Patricia,
Ihave noticed a lot of Elizabeth entries in The Carruthers list part one and part two, collated by Anne Steidel. In an attempt to find my line I am going to trace, as many Carruthers active in the 1700s as it takes. By a process of elimination I should find my Archibald 1766 and his sisters Agnes and Catherine. It will be a fun trip sorting out all the Carruthers. Rosemary
