Anyone have info on Mary Caruthers from Georgia who married Henry Chovin Oswald from Screven Georgia?They were my mother's grandparents. Mary became a doctor after her husband died. Mary & Henry's children include Ellsworth Oswald, Mary Gay Oswald (Horner), Warren Oswald, and Carolyn Oswald (Scott) ( my mother's mother, who died young).
The family moved from Georgia to Mississippi, then to California (Hollywood area).
Any info on the family line from Georgia area, Caruthers, would be appreciated. Supposedly we have some Native American blood, but I don't know where it came from.
