My mother, Minnie Lee Carithers, was from Anderson, SC. (Married Frank Lowry Belk in 1950.) Three brothers: Robert E. Lee, James E. and Troy E., and four sisters: Lillie M.(Applewhite), Maggie G., Annie B.(Kirby), and Nellie.
Her father was Lee Edward Carithers(he had 2 brothers:John and Marcus/one sister: Lilly.
Her mother was Minnie S.A. Stowe(she had 1 brother, Earnest, and 3 sisters, Savannah, Nellie, and Maggie).
Her maternal grandparents were John Wesley Stowe and Narcisus Catherine Campbell.
