Ms. Carty, thank you for your response. The following was sent nearly a year ago. A cousin and I wrote a book, 'A Man Called Brown', and published in November 2005, based on the life of Joel Weeks, son of Gamblin who married Julia Jamison Carty. We have been curious what brought about the marriage breakup.
The Carty family is mentioned in the book 'Reynolds County Missouri', by James Bell et al. Mr Bell e-mailed us a few more tidbits, but nothing why the breakup.

Good Morning, thanks again for responding. I have yet to access the site though. The William I'm looking for was born about 1838 in Missouri. His parents were Joseph Carty and Julia Jamison. Based on the picture date, I would estimate that this Wm could be the son of William. Do you have any of the tree to Joseph Carty?
Regards garrett

{Ilost the picture in my attempt to transmit to you...}
