My Great Grandfather's name was Nicholas Cartney. He had three children, Bernard, Francis, and John. John Nicholas Cartney (1885-1965) was my grandfather. John married Marion O'Brien (1903-1983)and had 14 children, all were raised in Titusville, Pennsylvania. My father is Michael Edward Cartney. From reading the messages posted, there seems to be some family names in common (it may be pure coincidence). I have contacted my Aunt who will have more information about Nicholas Cartney and his siblings who moved Texas and will post the information later this week.
