Am looking for information on the family of Hannah Cartmel/Cartmill, b. ca 1740? in Frederick Co, VA. I have info showing she was the d/o Edward Cartmel who was the son of Martin Cartmel. Hannah married Lt. John Barnes presumably in VA as their daughter, Rachel was born 22 March 1769 in Winchester, VA. Hannah and John Barnes moved to KY. Would appreciate any direction on this family.
