Hi, David. It's been a while since I checked this list. I'm quite interested in your latest findings and ideas. I wrote a message but I think it disappeared into outer space. Will try again! Our ancestry is traced through Nathaniel Cartmill, who I believe was also a son of Martin and Esther. I've received wills for Dorothy (1749-50), Martin (1749), Nathan (1755-1758), Nathaniel (1795) and Edward (1803-1806). Other than that, I really don't know where to look for information. I've been using information provided to my motherinlaw 30 years ago. I'd like to be able to verify it as much as possible. Where are you finding this information? Is it available in the LDS library or some other source? Are there records of the New Castle County Monthly Meeting? Would they show the marriage of Martin and ESther as well as Nathaniel's birth? I think I received the information about land sold by Henry Hollingsworth to Martin a year or 2 ago. Have you found information verifying he had a daughter named Esther? I'm interested in knowing what else you have learned since you posted the 1696/97 tax list to the genforum site. Gail Notify Administrator about this message?
