Richard Cartmel and Mary Sowerby of Keswick, Cumberland, England

Looking for any information on a Richard Cartmel who married a Mary Sowerby April 21, 1788 at Crosthwaite, Keswick, Cumberland, England. Would like to know who this Richard Cartmel descends from. I descend from an Isaac Cartmel ( of Smeathwaite Farm, nr. Keswick) baptised January 2, 1776 at Buttermere, Cumberland, England. My Isaac Cartmel had a brother Richard, baptised October 20, 1765 at Buttermere, Cumberland, England. I am wondering if these two Richard Cartmels are one in the same person. There is recorded ( in the Directory of Principal Inhabitants of Cumberland for 1829 & 1847) a Richard Cartmel living at High Nest, Castlerigg which is only about two miles up the valley (St. John's in the Vale) from Smeathwaite Farm where my Isaac Cartmel resided. Both my Isaac Cartmel and this Richard Cartmel were Farmers and Butchers by trade.
Any information on this Richard Cartmel who married Mary Sowerby would be appreciated. Thanks.
