Joseph Cartier m. Rose Delima Blanchard c. 1883

My father's grandparents, Joseph Cartier and Rose Delima Blanchard, had their first child in 1884. I don't know much more than that about them. There is a family story that some ancestor came from Alsace-Lorraine, but I don't know how far back. I am descended from their daughter, Alice Amanda Cartier b. 1890, and her husband Eloi Lanteigne b. 1883. I know there are tons of relatives in Massachusetts. Any information would be appreciated.
