Hello Anita,
If this Maggie is your grandmother, then my husband is your 2nd cousin. Her sister, Dora Tonkin, who married Edgar Hylton Wells, is his grandmother. Who were the parents of "your" Maggie? Then we will know for certain.
My husband and I are currently running a campground and we won't be home till late fall. Will have access to all my info then. So if you change your email address, be sure to let me know. I am not absolutely positive that I have the correct info on the children of "our" Maggie. However we do have a lot of other correct info that we acquired thru factual records. Someone gave me the list of children, so cannot be certain they are 100% correct for "our" Maggie.
We have been searching for cousins of "our" Maggie for a long time. Dora & Maggie's sister, Rose, was unable to have any children. We have found MANY cousins of the other siblings and will be sure to have them 'in contact' with you once we know for certain. Dora (Tonkin) & Edgar Wells came to Canada in 1927 when my husband's mom was only 4.
Heather
