Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I am descended from Richard Skinner, manservant to Phillip Carteret, and Susanna Poulain, maid to Phillip's wife.

Richard & Susanna came to New Jersey with the Carterets, and later married in Woodbridge.

Do you have any idea where else Phillip Carteret lived besides on the Isle of Jersey?

Do you know where their ship sailed from?

Even the tiniest tidbit of help -- anything at all that will give me an idea of where to start looking -- will be most highly appreciated!

Charlou (short for Charlotte Louise) Dolan
