Mr. Peyton F. Carter just wanted to say, as one Carter researcher to another, your work is impressive and well documented. Rarely do I find other researchers with the ability to extrapolate and speculate helping others to arrive at their own conclusions based on your hard-earned groundwork. I am not related to your Carter line, my line is Levi Carter Sr. of Greene County, Tennessee however, after researching family history for 38 years and writing over 300 books, articles and stories, I can appreciate your efforts and dedication to your family history. Good job well done. Floyd Thomas Pratt F.H.C., M.A.G.I.
