Charles Carter b 1757 dies in 1838-39 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. His widow Catherine survives him and is living in 1840 in Kentucky. He has a RW pension and a grave marker as a memorial in Kentucky.

The family in R1b - 26 is not closely related to Thomas Carter of Isle of Wight family; although they are both R1b haplotype.
