Two Sets of West New Jersey Quakers
Posted by: Sixk Zieman (ID *****1423) Date: March 31, 2013 at 09:08:39
In Reply to: William Carter of New Jersey 1796 by Larry Carter of 22774

We now have Larry's ancestors to Burlington County NJ ...
he is currently the last entry in Haplo R1b Group 1. And from Larry's last post, we learn his Joseph Carter 1729 was a Quaker.

Thing is, one of the first successes of The Carter Project was in Haplo I1 Group 1 ... they are/were established in Glouchester
County NJ and were the founders of the West New Jersey Quaker Colony.

The final Thing Is, is that Burlington and Glouchester counties sit right next to one another across the river from Philadelphia.

There remains the question of how Larry and his group somehow connect with William of Middlesex County VA.
