John Carter of Frederick Co VA - R1b Group 20
Posted by: Dick Zieman (ID *****1423) Date: February 26, 2013 at 12:36:07

We now have two complete proven lines of this Haplo Group loaded into DFT - at a 37 of 37 match. The common Ancestors are James Carter of England and Susannah Griffin of Wales. The two lines prove back to their sons, Joseph 1704 and Benjamin 1708 - you will first see their brother, James Carter of Bucks County PA. He is the father of the more commonly known John Carter of Frederick County VA - where James had married Hannah Chenoweth of Maryland. The Chenoweth work is this side of impeccable.

Look for the 'dna' tag on the names:

There is also a third test to this Group, but we are stuck on a Thomas P. Carter of Virginia / Kentucky / Ohio.
