Benjamin Carter in Nottoway 1802

I have another Benjamin Carter that does not seem to fit these three. He, along with Presley Jeter, witness the will of Green Ligon in Nottoway County, Virginia, on December 2, 1802. Any thoughts as to his origins and family?
