This will be technically difficult to display - the only way to format would be to use leading periods, which then become confusing.
Source Documents, Not Transcriptions
When we integrate the Aheinly Analysis (found on GenForum and cited below) with documents from both
sides of The Pond, we must conclude William of Kempston and Anne Emmery were the parents of our Capt.
Thomas Carter of Lancaster. The comments from Aunt Fanny in 1858 connect the Carter families of both
Visitations of 1634 England with the early records of Lancaster County, including the Thomas Prayer Book.
No, this is not proof in the strict sense, just another case of "overwhelming circumstantial evidence".
The simple point of both Visitations of 1634 is that Thomas of Kimpson and Anscell of London are placed
... next ... to one another, representing brotherhood.Their children are then placed underneath, and any
numbering is the sequence of birth and ... not ... the total number of children. Both Visitations clearly show
"1. George 2. John 3. Ancell 4. William" and one daughter Jane! She is even shown as "1. Jane" in London.
And the parish registers of St Dunstan in the West: support this record of Ansell's children.
George was baptised in 1619, John in 1622, Ansell and Jane in 1629 and William in 1632.
Therefore, "Ancell 6 sonn" and "Thomas 1 sonn" in the London Visitation denotes Uncle Thomas was
the first son of William of Kempston [Kimpson] and Mary Ancille, while Cousin Ancell was the sixth son.
Contrast and compare data from both sides of The Pond, beginning with the unique "Barford" connection:
"With this Book pr Rv Mr John Shepperd on Wednsday ye 4h Day of May 1670
- was Mard Mr Thomas Carter of Barford in ye County of Lancaster in Virga &
Katherine Dale ye eldest Daughr of Mr Edw: Dale ye same County".

"Farringdon is a historic area of the City of London, represented today by the Wards of Farringdon Within and Farringdon Without."Without" was outside the London Wall, and John Carter tells us this was on Fleet Street.
