Judith Carter born in Goochland Co., Va. about 1737, d. about 1806 Goochland, Va. marries 1756, in Goochland Co., Va., Charles Carter, Rev. War soldier, b. 1735 in Cumberland Co. Va., died in supposedly in service of his country. She was awarded a Widow’ Rev. War pension in 1793 by Gov. of Va. In her application for the pension, 5 comrades of his swore he died in the service of his Country.
