I am looking for information and photos of my uncle Nick Carter, son of Alfred Herman Carter and Sarah McCoskery Carter. He may also have listed Chicago as his birth city.
He had a daughter, Cynthia, and I believe wife, Jean. He was the manager of a Sears store in Wenatchee, Washington, sometime in the late 1940's or early 1950's. I run into a dead end trying to locate any record of him, except for 2 family photos.
I spoke with his cousin living in Chicago, who mentioned he was a world class skier and athlete. He passed away before I was born. My father, Churchill Russell Carter b 22 Feb 1911, was his brother. I am looking for family photos of the Carter/McCoskery folks, and of course, roots.
