Lela Mae McWilliams lst wife of Wm Andrew Cook b:1887 TX
They had Dewey Wilburn Cook, 1907,raised by the McWilliams.
She died during birth of 2nd child (?)
He married w/#2 Mary CARTER, b:1902/Fannin Co.,Tx in Quanah Tx.
Her parents: Rand/Lydia mnu Carter per 1900 Hunts Co Tx Census...showed 2 boys, Tom/Wufford b:Ky
Mary Alice Carter-Cook had a bro Joe Carter, m:(?)
and 2 sisters, Mayzie(WILCOX)/Myrtle(SPARKS)m:Cass Co,Tx.
I can't find anything on her Carters, except that her
mother, Lydia, was widowed and kept house for JE STORY,
1920..shows married to him, 1930. He d:1931..She wasn't the widow. (?) Other collateral names: Settles, Hampton, Herren/an/in..linked to Mr. Story.
