There were a "blue million" (as they say) Isbell families in Warren County, KY. It's interesting that two men named James Isbell both had wives named Mary. I cannot confirm the Paschal connection; he may have been an uncle or some other relative to your James Henry Isbell; both seemed to settle in Fayette Co., IL. Back then, of course, couples had up to 10 children sometimes, and siblings named their own children the same; there could be several James Isbell guys in the same time period.

I have a number of books on Warren Co., KY, but not at this home I'm in right now. When I get my books shipped, I'll see if I can find anything else for you.

Regards,
Mona
