Hi Half Cousin from way back, Toni, Based on Barbara Carter/Peak being your ancestor, I welcome you amoung the THORN Family. No great honor, but I welcome you just the same. Would you be interested in Sarah Carter/Thorn/Wilson's Will? Where daughter Barbara Peak is mentioned? It may be the only clue to link William & Sarah as parents of Barbara & her brothers & sisters. I have some other documents from PWC that mentions Barbara's older brother. That might be of interest as well. Grandma Sarah has a very colorful life, for what little we know of her.
Would you know where the book you mention is available? I would like a copy of the information as a source. To verify the connection. Also would you please share with us your info on Barbara & William Peak. Our William Thorn's first wife is said to be Mary Peak or Peck. that married a Mr. O'Rear. So we may have more in common than I think. So please feel free to contact me directly.
