Elijah Carter to Joseph Carter, both of Greene County and State of Tennessee, Fifty dollars paid for 15 acres of land on Lick Creek. My part as an Heir of a certain tract of land Granted to Levy Carter (Dec'd) lying in Greene County, whereon I have became an Heir, my part as a Legatee after the death of our mother Susannah Carter.
Witnessed: Joseph Carter Senior & Jabish Carter
Registered this 22nd day of October 1816

Elijah Carter to Farmer Pogue, One hundred & ten dollars paid for 32 acres of land on Short Creek in the County of Greene, mentions John Hartley's conditional line.

Anthony Bewly to Elijah Carder, both of the County of Greene and State of Tennessee, whereas the State of North Carolina has issued a Grant to Stockley Denelson for a tract of land containing Five Thousand acres in Greene County and State of Tennessee, dated the 28th of August 1795 & #356, and said tract of land was sold by a Deed of Conveyance from Denelson to John Love Esqr. in whose name said tract of land was sold and conveyed according to Law for Taxes by the High Sheriff of Greene County to Saymore Catching who sold to Herman Coffman and was passed of which 177 acres to Anthony Bewley, for $195.00 paid by Elijah Carder for 85 acres. Adjoining the lands of Daniel Bryant & David Reeds. Witnessed: Daniel Bryan, J.N.Bewley, Jesse Fidding & Reuben Murray. Registered the 12th day of December 1827.

November 17,1827 Greene County Deeds book 14, page 409
Elijah Carder to Daniel Bryan, both of Greene County and State of Tennessee, $195.00 paid for 90 acres of land on the waters of Lick Creek, it being a tract of land said Carder bought of Anthony Bewley, mentions Reeds line.
Witnessed: Gedion T.Bryan, Joseph Hood & Daniel Hood
