Janurary 12,1793 Greene Co.Deeds book 1, page 409
State of North Carolina to Levi Carter, Ten Pounds for every hundred acres, A tract of land containing one hundred and seventy five acres, In our County of Greene on both sides of Lick Creek, Beginning at the mouth of Puncheon Camp Creek at a beech. Witnessed: Richard Dobbs Spraight, At Neubern by his excellency's command - J.Glasgou

The above deed duplicated in Greene Co.Deeds book 3 p.454

November 25,1807 Greene Co. Deeds book 8, page 148
Levy Carter to David Key, One hundred pounds paid for 87 & 1/2 acres, Lying and being in the State of Tennessee and County of Greene on the waters of Lick Creek, Beginning at a corner to the division line between said Key and David Keller, A corner to said Key's other land, West with the meanders of a creek. Witnessed: Elijah Billingsley, David Keller and Daniel Carter. Registered the 24th day of February 1808, George Brown R.G.C.

November 25,1807 Greene Co. Deeds book 8, page 333
Levy Carter to Elijah Billingsley, One hundred pounds paid for 113 acres, Lying in the State of Tennessee and the County of Greene, Beginning at the mouth of the Dry Fork branch at or near a plum tree, Running down and with the meanders of the Roaring Fork Creek to the point at Coventry's bottom, Division of line between said Carter and David Key. Witnessed: David Key, Moses McCoy and Jacob Gray Registered the 16th day of December 1808, Attest: Valentine Sevier, George Brown R.G.C.

October 23,1809 Greene Co. Deeds book 9, page 477
Levy Carter to Caleb Carter, The sum of seventy dollars paid for 24 acres of land on the north side of Lick Creek, Lying and being in the State of Tennessee and the County of Greene, It being part of a one hundred and seventy five acre patent granted to said Levi Carter. Witnessed: William Jones and Elijah Carter. Registered the 22nd day of May 1813 Attest George Brown R.G.C.

September 8,1798 Greene Co. Deeds book 24, page 49
Joseph Carter to Levy Carter, One hundred and ten pounds paid for 203 acres on the Roaring Fork of Lick Creek, Lying and being in the County of Greene, In the deed it says Joseph Carter Senr., Mentions Coventry's bottom, Beginning at the mouth of Dry branch, A corner to Ms.Kees land, Witnessed: John Jones and Daniel Carter. Registered Jan. 4th, 1804 by William Wilson for James Stinson C.R.

July 26,1815 Greene Co. Deeds book 10, page 487
Jesse, John and Levy Carter to Caleb and Joseph Carter, The sum of fifty dollars paid to each one of the said Jesse Carter, John Carter and Levy Carter for 45 acres of land on the waters of Lick Creek, Our part as heirs of a certain tract of land granted to Levy Carter dec'd, Being in Greene County, Our part as Legatees after the death of our mother Susannah Carter, Witnessed: David Key and Samuel Keller, Registered the 24th day of October 1816, George Brown R.G.C
