Keith,

I found Thomas Carten in the 1930 Illinois census living at 1022 Illinois Ave., E. St. Louis. It states he and his parents were born in Missouri. His wife, Winnie, aged 19 on census, Thomas aged 47. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War.

I may have a lead on his half brother, John. I am working on this now.

Sue
