Hi Bobby,
My Carson line was in the Rowan and Orange NC area 1760s. I descend from a different Robert Carson born c1730 from Lancaster PA who moved to NC 1760s. My DNA matches exactly with a descendant of Moses Carson born 1737. A writing by Calvin Cowles said that Moses was a brother of William, father of Lindsey Carson born 1754. I've not been able to sort this all out.
Where did your Robert Carson end up? I recall Lindsey's brother went to KY around the same time, and brother Andrew stayed in Iredell. Is that your Robert?
