Walter Lindsay Carson was in Iredell County, son
of William and ? Eleanor. The research got
confused because it is known that Walter Lindsay
Carson went to SC before moving on to KY and there
was another Walter Carson (son of Walter and Mary Carson)
and grandson of Walter and Agnes Carson of Adams PA.
There was a third Walter Carson (all of them about
the same age) son of John and Mary Carson of
Rutherfordton County NC, brother in law of Walter
and Mary. John and Mary went first to SC in 1797
then on to Rutherfordton. At the time Walter
Lindsay Carson was in SC, there were, therefore,
three Walter Carsons there, all three of whom were
in the Rev War and applied for pensions.
