Carson Families from Ireland and Scotland

The following emmigrated to Canada about 1843: Thomas b1805; William, John, Robert (Married Margart Hare)and James. They all settled in the Owen Sound, Ontario area. If anyone has any information about their lives in Ireland or their ancestors who were likely from Scotland, please let me know. We suspect one of them may have arrived later. We have much info on their lives in Canada but nothing at all about their lives in Great Britain. I am looking for a connection to the family of Sir Edward Carson.
