Hi Gerry,

I noticed your postings on Thomas Gibson Carson of Abbeville SC, father of William, Joseph, and others.

In 1790, the estate of Joseph Carson in Abbeville SC had Moses (born 1735 from Lancaster PA) and Andrew Carson posting a bond as administrators. Moses moved to Orange NC then to Washington TN along with William, David and probably Robert Carson (this William is my ancestor, father of David born 1755-65 PA, died 1820s Haywood NC).

Moses and my line are exact DNA matches, which suggests this Joseph Carson in Abbeville SC is related.

Do you know for certain that Thomas Gibson Carson's son Joseph died in 1798 in GA? Or, could that be 1788 and he had some estate remaining in Abbeville SC?
