I have a copy of Elizabeth Carson's will. I will try to summarize it.

Georgia, Jones County.
To my daughter Peggy McGough...
To my daughter Elizabeth Tison...
To my daughter Jane...
To my daughter Ibby... (I presume that's Isabella)
To my daughter Sarah Finney...
To my daughter Mary Nunn...
Dated January 29, 1821.
Signed Elizabeth Her X Mark Carson
Witnesses Kinchen P. Tison, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Buckner.
Filed (?) (or whatever you do with wills in court) March 5, 1821, Jones County.

I have some more info that says that this Elizabeth Carson was a Patterson before she married.

Keep digging...Here's Elizabeth's family. Apparently she was first wife of Robert S. Carson, who was "boarne january ye 14 in the yeare of our Loard 1769 on the 7 day of the moon's lage it being on saterday". (I have no idea what the moon's lage is.) Robert & Elizabeth were married Jan 25, 1795, in Rowan Co, NC. Robert's second wife was Sabray (or Sabra) Porter. Robert signed will on Nov 3, 1837 in Dallas Co AL.

Robert S. Carson named the following in his will:
Wife Sabray
Son Robert
Son Andrew Jackson
Son Francis Marion
Dau Parilee
Dau Nancy
Son-in-Law Jay Finney
Child with which wife is now pregnant.

Those children named by Elizabeth Carson are children of first marriage of Robert S. Carson.

Does any of this sound like your people? I'd love to swap info with you.
