Hi Dana, yes I do have a problem with that, I need to go back and figure out where my program is wrong. I have tended to stay to my own line and I do have a line from Australia.

Here is my line
Janet Carruthers 1803 She was my great great grandmother
John Carruthers of Howcleugh 1751
James Carruthers of Howcleugh 1726
James Carruthers of Breckonhill 1690
James Carruthers of Breckonhill 1630
Frances Carruthers 3rd of Dormont 1575
Christopher Carruthers 2nd of Dormont
William Carruthers 1st laird of Dormont
John Carruthers 5th Laird of Holmains married Blanche Murray
The had
You are descended from George and I am decended from William, this is where we split. The present laird of Dormont James 13 of Dormant is my 8th cousin 2 times removed. My family mostly stayed in Scotland.

I was trying to trace the Holmains line but it seems to have disappeared. Do you know if it still continues?

I have the line you sent me down to about the 1840 I guess. I will add it to my data base.
