Hello List, I am looking for any information on any of the Carruthers families of Bishopwearmouth, Sunderland, Co Durham, England. My main interest is in a Christopher Carruthers b 1777. Wife Jane also b 1777, daughter Jane b 1814 and her son Christopher Carruthers b 1839. It is thought that Christ’r senior was born outside the Durham area. Any info or even a tenuous link would be appreciated. Thanks.
