Margarette, I think we are talking about two different families. Catherine Carrow was born in 1843. Her parents were Joseph Carrow, 1818-1895, and his wife, Margaret Smith, 1820-1902. They had 7 children, 5 of whom grew up and married. Nelson Carrow m. Christie Carr; Catherine Carrow m. William Hunt; John Carrow m. Edna Dean; Mary Maloa Carrow m. Frank Barton; and Sarah Ann Carrow m. Richard Carr, the brother of Christie Carr. While the Carrows were all born in Norfolk County, Ontario, Joseph and his wife came to Midland Co., Mich., in about 1870. His children all followed him, even though some of them were already married. Some stayed in Midland County, and others went to Gratiot County and Clare County, Mich. There are two other people who post messages on this forum who are descended from this same family. Janet is descended from Joseph Carrow's sister, Rachel Carrow, and Linda is descended from Joseph's son, Nelson. Good luck in finding your family.
