This family is from Marshall County, Alabama.
I've located a marriage record for
Leonard A Carroll and Eldona Woodhamm.Sept.6, 1900
FHL film #1035279 v.13 p108
In the 1910 US Census Leonard Carroll and family are located in Joppa, Cullman Co, Alabama ED32 p15B
Between the 1910 Census and the 1918 WWI Draft Registration in Hughes County, Oklahoma, Leonard Carroll changed his name to John Wesley Carroll..
In the 1920 US Census, John/JW Carroll and family are listed twice...
Bernard, Hughes Co, Oklahoma ED56 p7AFeb.25, 1920
Wetumka, Hughes Co, Oklahoma ED77 p1BAug.1920
By 1930 Dona Woodham Carroll has married Gus W Lane, and is living in Borger, Hutchinson Co, Texas ED2 p12B. Two of her daughters, Golda and Pauline are listed in the household.
I've located death certificates for Leonard (aka John W Carroll), sons, Edward and Joe Luther Carroll. The three of them are buried in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Potter Co, Texas.
I do not know where Dona Woodham Carroll Lane is buried, but would like to know. A few online family trees list her as the daughter of Edward D Woodham and Martha Benefield. This is quite likely. Are there records stating this as fact?
Hope this has been helpful, and would like to learn more about Dona.
