Carrolls in Armagh, particularly Forkhill, Mullabawn
Posted by: Patricia Giles (ID *****5693) Date: January 22, 2012 at 01:17:07

I am trying to trace a Patrick Carroll who married Mary Dane. I can see two Patrick's in the 1821 census and I'm guessing they are probably cousins. The two families in the census show

Owen Carroll 51
Mary Carroll 50 (Wife)
Patrick Carroll Laborer 16
Thomas Carroll 13
Owen Carroll 9
Catherine 14
Alice 1
Margaret 3
This family shows up on the Griffiths Valuations under Tievecrom

John Carroll Farmer 54
Cecilia Carroll 54
Patrick Carroll Labourer 21
Mathew Carroll 14
Bridget Carroll 20
Mary Carroll 11
This family shows up on the Griffiths Valuations under Mullaghbawn

Any input would be most welcome.
