Following is the list I have of Nancy (Carroll) and John Adam Counts' children. All were born in Tennessee and birth dates are "about." Also, the list includes two sets of twins.
Nicholas, 1801
John B, 1802
Malissa Elizabeth 1804 (my link to Nancy)
Mary Ann 1805
Henry 1806
Nancy Ann 1808
Rebecca 1808
Richard 1810
Peter 1812
William 1814
Andrew Jackson 1819
George Washington 1819
James Carroll 1824
Do any of these names match the ones given in your Carroll genealogy? I now the source for a few of them. Nicholas was John Adam's father's name. And the two generals' names are because John served under them--at least according to information I've been given.
