Hi Eric
I saw your message of 2006. You seem to have a handle on the Carrolls.
I am looking for a Daniel Carroll with a wife MARY in 1726. He sold land to my ancestor, Daniel HEARN that year. The tract was called "Chance" and everything points to Daniel Carroll of Duddington the first, son of Charles the Settler(attorney general). "Chance" was a tract in this family. BUT.... this Daniel's wife was Ann Rozier. Unless that is wrong.
The only other Daniel Carroll alive in 1726 (that I know of) was Daniel Carroll of Upper Marlboro and his wife was Eleanor Darnell.
Which Daniel has wife Mary in 1726? Am I wrong about the wife named Ann Rozier? I have a copy of the deed.
Can you help me ID Daniel married to Mary?
