Well Hello! Awesome news. I have been trying to find Carroll's forever.

My grandfather was George Carroll. Son of Thomas Carroll (Daniel's brother)and Francis Koenig (King). Thomas died in 1885 right after George was born. Francis then married a Joesph Miller. Had another son and a daughter. That side of the family basically told me that "Uncle George never married". George married my grandmother when he was in his 40s. He was 15 years her senior. Not a great match and after my Mom was born he was gone. I know he came in and out of their lives. They never divorced.

I am so thrilled to finally find someone. I have wondered if that Jeremiah Carroll and Ellen Griffin are "Mine". Somewhere along the line I have a record that Thomas was from Kerry. I don't know that for sure. To be honest everything I have I have done from knowing nothing more than my Grandfather's name. I have many records I have purchased. Just recently got much info on the siblings of Thomas. This thing with Daniel exploded info wise just in the last few months. I saw a Daniel in 1880 and hadn't realized he was the same Daniel in 1900 with a different wife and children. I then tracked everything through the directories, and cemetery records to find that this was MY Daniel Carroll.

Please email me at my personal email address. kathijohnston@verion.net

I you in Pittsburgh???? I would love to exchange info.
