Mary Alice Cain
MANY, LA - Mary Alice Cain, 59, of Many, Louisiana died on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was born Saturday, January 7, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her father, Durward C. Carroll and brother, Dale Wayne Carroll.
She is survived by her mother, Blanche Rice Carroll of Many, LA; daughters, Christy Cain of Many, LA and Shanna Malone and husband Matt of Jackson, MO; brothers, Robert Carroll and wife Connie of Many, LA and Larry Carroll of Natchitoches, LA,; sisters, Linda Sue Pearson and husband Claude of Panola, TX., and Janice Faye Winkler and husband Terry of Springfield, MO; 6 Grandchildren: Justin Miller, Kurtlyn Cain, Jalen Singleton, Tylen Singleton, Faith Malone, and Jacob Malone; special friend, Linda Bush; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Alford Heights Baptist Church, Many, LA with Bro. Wayne Chance officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Florien, LA.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Alford Heights Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Kurtlyn Cain, Jason Carroll, Claude Pearson, Matt Malone, Jessie Groghagan, and Dave Toney.
