Hello Ray,

My Carrolls also lived in St John's Parish! It is, I believe, a real coincidence that both of our Carroll ancestors were coachmen in Limerick during the same period. I have been trying to find out more about the Carrolls for years and have never come across another Carroll coachman for that time and place. Unfortunately, I do not know where my Daniel was born - it could indeed have been Bruff. Did you ever come across the names of Daniel and Bernard in your Carroll family? Perhaps it is too far back...My email address is deirdre.carroll1@gmail.com.

Deirdre C.
