Her parents Patrick Nelligan and Mary Gloster married in 1812 in St Mary's parish. Daniel's family included a Bernard and a Patrick, but no Michael. Daniel was a coachman and most likely came from another county, possibly Tipperary or Kilkenny. I believe his father's name may have been Barnaby Carroll. My grandfather's name was Michael Carroll. I don't know if your Michael could for instance have been a nephew? Do you know anything further about your Carrolls in Limerick city eg occupation?
