Does anyone know if there is a connection between Jacob Carrel and William Carrell of Richland District, SC and Joseph Carroll,Sr. m. to Jenet SWANCE , if perhaps they are related.
Joseph and Jenet lived in York Co,Camden Co,Craven Co, & Allisons Creek, SC.
I am trying to determine the parents of my GGG Grandmother, Martha Carroll b. 1815 SC, m. William J Hugg b. 1812 SC.
William J Hugg is the son of Stephen Hugg. One of Stephen's daughters, Nancy Hugg m. Jacob Carrell,(son of Jacob Carrell,Sr., I believe). I have seen in the will of Jacob Carrell, Sr that he had a son Joseph also, but it doesn't say if he was married or not. I have seen information that Joseph Carroll's daughter Martha Carroll m. William J Hugg, I am trying to find out if the Joseph Carroll of York Co,SC b. 1781 to Joseph Carroll and Martha SWANCEY is the father of my Martha Carroll m. to William Hugg.
I would appreciate any information anyone might have.
