I'm starting to think that these are my Carroll's, though I'm not sure. I have a Great Uncle that's name was Luke Carroll named after ?? His brother was Oscar. Now my GG Grandfather was born in Grainger/Claiborne TN his name was James A Carrol. We've been told we originate out of VA, then NC, and I know many of them left East Tennessee...my GG Grandfather stayed there and died in Bradley County. I've broken it down to only a few that could possibly be my GGG Grandfather...either Hugh Carroll or one of the sons of Luke. If anyone can help me I would truly appreciate it.
