Agnes Carroll was the daughter of John Duncan and she was born in Tennessee around 1802. She married an unknown Carroll who was dead by the 1850 census taken in Graves County, Kentucky.

In the 1850 Graves County Kentucky Census, Agnes is listed having a family of 5 boys: James (1835 AL), Nathan (1836 AL), Daniel “Danny” (1838 AL), Samuel (1843 Graves County, KY), and Wesley (1845 Graves County, Kentucky).

Nathan was a farmer and married a lady named Eve. This couple had: Thomas J. (1861), Benjamin (1864), Sarah (1869), John (1873), Edwin (1875) and Jefferson (1879).

Samuel was a preacher who married a lady named Bessie. They moved to the New Madrid County, Missouri area. This couple had: John who married Edey Powell, William who married Nancy Malone, Andrew who married Sarah Sullivan, Harvey who married Martha Patterson and a boy named Lew.

Agnes may have two other sons:
William Carrell who married Abigail Pinnion on 6/28/1849 in Marshall County, Kentucky.
Andrew Carroll who married Alta Waters on 2/14/1861 in Marshall County, Kentucky.

Agnes Carroll died October 6, 1876 in Marshall County, Kentucky.

I am interested in Agnes’ son James, but any other information is appreciated also.
